I have a question re: best practices on trench installations.

Given several HDPE SDR 13.5 ducts, say 1-2" in diameter, in one trench. All are LV/signaling; some copper, other fiber; in any case there's no [E field] interference issues.

But do I need to be concerned with mechanical interference & damage?

Am I better off separating them with stakes, or conversely ty-wrapping them into a bundle before backfilling?

Bunding or staking not nessessary. We install miles of it. We plow it in. 4 conduits at a time. We also directional bore it. ITS signal conduits.

Thanks, I assumed so, but wanted to check with someone with dirtier hands than mine.

Next question: 250-300 ft pulls, of various copper and fiber. Should I buy internal ribbed or smoothwall?
