Kidde interconnected smoke (false) alarms

Merry Christmas

I have a house with 12 interconnected (with battery backup) Kidde smoke/co detectors (i12060A) that is driving me crazy.

Every week or 2 the alarm goes off, which means all 12 units start screaming.

And, I haven't found a way to reset them (silence them until retriggered) without going to each and holding the button (which requires a ladder for the 12' and 11' ceilings).

Here are my questions:

1) Is there a way of silencing or reseting them without going to each unit?
2) Is there any way to remotely reset them?

I know that power cycleing (i.e., flipping the breaker) won't work because each unit has a battery in it.

Thank you!

My smokes indicate which one alarmed. Do yours have that feature?

From kidde.com: "Alarm memory flashes red LED indicating which unit was the initiating alarm in interconnected system."

Does that mean that resetting the triggered unit will reset all of them?

I would so much like a way to reset the trigger remotely.

You should probably clean them, particularly the most offending one. Use compressed air in a can

I had the worst time with Kidde smoke alarms a few years ago, they were going off on like three different projects of mine. After much frustration I ended up changing them all out to BRK. I even called Walter and he gave me refund on some of them fortunately.
