What do you mean Rattus? is joules not watts per second?

1 watt over 1 second is a joule.

2 watts over 1 second is 2 joules.

Watt/Second, no?

No Sam, one watt is one joule per second---joules/second.

In general, Power = energy/time. Energy = power x time---watt-hour or kilowatt-hour.

Actually, watts/sec would indicate a change in power with respect to time--dp/dt.

Here it is:

1. 1 kilowatt hour = 3600000 joules = 3600 kilojoules
2. 1000 watt hour = 3600 kilojoule
3. 1 watt hour = 3.6 kilojoule
4. (1 watt hour) X 60 seconds/hour = 3.6 kilojoules
5. 60 watt-minutes = 3.6 kilojoules = 3600 joules
6. 1 watt-minutes = 60 joules
   
7. 1 watt-second = 1 joule
