kitche circuits

Do you need two small apliance circuits in an apartment that is only 700 squqre feet? There are only three countertop plugs in each unit. Fridge is on seperate circuit, so is garbage disposal. I can't see a reason to divide the three circuits into two seperate ones.

Tim,

The short answer is yes, you still need 2 small appliance circuits at the countertop.

If the Fridge is on a 20A circuit you could put one of the Countertop outlets on that circuit and you would only need 1 more small appliance circuit for the other 2 outlets.
