I have used Sea gull lighting, under cabinet lighting. It’s totally customizable to whatever length you need. It’s a track that you snap in the LV wire then the small lamp holders. You can buy LED bulbs or halogen to snap in. If used correctly, you can eliminate and dark spots on the backsplash. It is a bit expensive.
Their prices are far less than what any local supplier has quoted me.
If the inside of the cabinet is anything other than white, I get the RGB strips and dial in a color that looks best and just leave the customer with an off/on switch.
A more red colored light tends to look better in darker colored cabinets. But it doesn’t “look” red, if that makes sense.
Consider either mounting on the sidewall of the cabinet or else on the underside of the shelves, with some sort of shield to prevent a direct sight line to the LEDs.
