Concerning kitchen equipment disconnect. Even though the service panel is within sight the plant we’re working at wants to install disconnects at each pier of equipment. The only problem it’s the only place to put disconnects would be behind the equipment. Since all pieces are in wheels is it ok to put the disconnects behind the kitchen equipment since it can be rolled out of the way for access. Considering that the door will not have 36”

I am having trouble understanding the issue. Is this an existing installation and are the disconnects being added? Or is all this new? What kind of kitchen equipment is this, and why is it on wheels (i.e., does each item sit on its own wheels or are they on movable carts)?

Is the equipment connected by a flexible wiring method that will allow it to move enough to provide 110.16 clearance
