So I have a kitchen island with no sink. It’s a completely flat piece of granite. I kinda screwed up. All three outlets have been cut into the granite. The middle one is a pop up box. The two end ones are for lamps. So I put in clock outlets trying to please the owner. Any ideas of how to get this to pass an inspection. I used a single gang floor outlet application

Travis I am afraid you may have just bought that granite. Not much you can do except put in 2 more popups if they are at least as large as the holes that are there.

How long is this counter top and how many outlets do you need. What I was suggesting is mount the lamps to the boxes hard with gfi protection. The lamps can be turned on at the lamp or maybe you have those outlets on a switch. If you need more outlets you can install without getting new granite.
Since you were trying to please the owners maybe they will understand?
I would think the hard wired lamps would be code compliant.

Can the lamps be mounted on a base with an outlet? Like the lamps in hotels that have a power outlet for your computer.

If it is an island only one receptacle is required. The problem is your floor type outlet boxes and the face up receptacle installed in them. To pass inspection make them pop ups or get rid of them altogether and your one pop up will pass inspection unless you have a local rule that requires more than one outlet on this island.

That won't satisfy the required receptacle. You can't use lamp cord so supply it.
I'm assuming the base and the lamp will be hard-wired to the existing lamp positions. No lamp cord!

OP-- are the lamps intended to be plugged into the clock outlets? I can't imagine lamps on a counter that aren't anchored securely! They're just waiting for a casual swipe of an arm to knock them off the counter!

Trying to create a better picture for readers, it appears you maybe put in 1 gang box from a floor outlet box kit but installed a clock outlet because owner liked the looks of it better than the floor box trim.
