Looking at a big kitchen job. Lots of food setrvice drawings. Anything in code about having to use RGS in these areas? Thanks.

Nothing that I’m aware of in the NEC. Although, I have had a long time ago the health department state that conduit runs that were horizontal needed to be spaced from wall in order to clean debris that would accumulate otherwise.

Typical restaurant style kitchen maybe not much problem, something like food processing/manufacturing plant you might need corrosion resistance, more than offered by galvanizing, which might mean coated RGS, PVC, even stainless RMC in some cases, but those places get washed down very frequently and use some pretty corrosive washing agents and sanitizers.
