are these the same as ONAN - oil immersed, natural circulation, self cooled

ONAN is Oil Natural Air Natural.
In KNAN I think the K is the initial for the liquid. I seem to recall that it is a synthetic oil like Midel but I can't remember what it is called.
Replacing the N with an F usually stands for Forced cooling.
