I'm trying to find where the distances from KO to KO and general clearances around a KO is.

I'm having no luck scanning UL 50, NEC book or the NEMA website.

Can anyone post a direct link or page(s) to reference?

If you want to know how far apart to make your KO's the determining factor is whether or not you can get your locknuts and/or bushings on.

using a punch and die, the die will be a good guide as its over hang is about the size of the locknut or bushing, but if your using step bits or hole saws then you have to mesure your layout, I have even used the die as a marking tool to do a hole layout.

Also keep in mind that there are specific requirements for the distance between raceway entries for large conductors in a J-box or pull box. (See 314.28)
