Has anyone tried this tool? It looks like it could fit it some pretty tight spots. Or should I just stick with the old fashions hand cranked version?
 
Yes I have used it a few times. The head twists so you can get it into tight spots but that also causes it to flop around a bit which I find to be annoying. I prefer the Milwaukee 10 ton KO tool. I've been using one for the past 7-8 years and IMO it's one of the best KO sets made. Either tool is light-years ahead of the old pump and hose type.
 
I have the Milwaukee set as well. It is awesome awesome. I really like the lines that help you lineup the center of the KO with markings
 
Thanks for the feedback. The main reason I liked the Greenlee is because it used a Makita battery, of which I have many.
 
When I started I bought the old pump style ,wish I bought the battery instead. I used the Milwaukee when I worked for a company, loved it when I had it.

Just saw you used makita, should be the same as Milwaukee as far as easy.
 
The Milwaukee M18 ko punch is well designed, the punch is set and then the driver installed. The index marks for alignment are easy to read, Greenlee has little tiny lines that are hard to see. No one complained about Greenlee as it was the best available at the time. I got the 6 ton Milwaukee set 1/2 - 2, and then the 2 1/2 - 4 was 1 cent
