At 480v for 150kw I'm coming up with 180A power needed. Does that make sense? Geez that's big wire for these heaters.

Your calculation is correct, but better get the nameplate info. That 150 kW may not include the fan motor.

These typically have selector switches so you don't have to run them at 150 kW.
