La State Fire Marshall vent hood inspection

Hey guys, I'm wiring a wells mvu 72 ventless duct hood in a restaurant in a food court in new orleans. I got the job permitted and the city of new orleans didn't mention anything about having the state fire marshal inspect the hood. The job is almost done and I'm curious if I should contact the state fire marshal or if they are not needed. Does anyone have experience with this? Thanks

This should have been determined when the permit was applied for. Ask your electrical inspector. If a mechanical permit was also pulled, it's their concern.

Agreed. The installer might need additional inspection(s), but you should only be concerned with yours.
