Labor union vs non-union

I apologize if this has been posted elsewhere but I’m curious if anyone has experience with using union labor. It seems a huge advantage to have access to a large pool of skilled labor to man the work and only take who you need for a given job. I know not all workers are created equal and it comes with its disadvantages but it’s also hard to find quality people that stay with you long term. The other advantage being if a guy is not performing well you just send him back to the hall for a new hand.

Again not trying to start a fight on here about union vs non-union I’m just new to the management side of things and want to look at all the pot and hoping others might have a nugget of advice to share.

The issue here is that this forum doesn't allow threads that union vs non- union because they inevitable get out of hand with name calling, etc. Sorry but I am closing this thread.
