What is an osha approved method of shimming a ladder on a crooked incline or something? im sure my linemans arent considered safe?
Don't know.... I can't read it.Could be--what does it say on the label??
Only use ladders and appropriate accessories (ladder levelers, jacks or hooks) for their designed purposes.
I guess you never install new services on a slightly slanted driveway?Use ladders only on stable and level surfaces
unless secured to prevent accidental movement.
There are no approved methods--sorry!
Real often the ground isn't very firm either at a new home construction sight.:smile:working off a ladder on a new house can be a pain in the neck because many times its rough and off level. i would hate to be the guy on the ladder in a highly visible area using my linemans to level it and the O squad show up.
Let's just say that I have never used the proper ladder levelers. Just used kleins, hammer, shovel and various wood and metal products. The levelers look nice. If OSHA was on the job, I required all the surfaces to be made level..
