Lamp Containment Barrier

I've been asked by another consultant if the light fixtures over a seating area for a concert hall need to be provided with a containment barrier to would catch the class if the lamp was to explode. The only thing I can find in the NEC is 410.73(F)(5) which requires MH lamp containment but specifically excludes PAR lamps which happens to be the lamps we are using in this case.

Can you think of any other code reference (NEC or not) that would require the containment barrier? If not, I still think that it would be a good practice to require the barrier. I know that there is such a requirement in Canada.

Par lamps are a lamp inside of an outer glass housing. They have double glass in them so if the lamp explodes it isn't going to go anywhere.
