Need advice on a lighting circuit, there is two circuits at 120 volts that feed LED navigation lighting on a fixed bridge. Those circuits run in the same conduit as the street lighting circuits for about 1500-2000 feet. The navigation lights are on all the time, would the switching of the street lighting 240 v cause a transient voltage on the nav. Light circuit? I ask because we have had lamps fail, way too early. We also have incandescent lamps on other bridges that go too soon as well and the lamps look like they are getting a shot of high voltage.

...And we use heavy duty 130v 8000 hour traffic signal lamps ...

Do the make both ?

How about some paste that is designed for lamp installation.

Your power source should be continual and not based on other source circuits. If two different types of circuits exist that require a correct power
of continual power that source should also be addressed!
