Landing parallel conductors

I always believed that when landing parallel conductors they had to be in their own hole in a two wire lug (one wire under one screw) and not both of the conductors in one hole (two wires under one screw) but I cannot find this requirement in the NEC. Am I wrong and if not where is this requirement in the book.

If the lug is listed for two conductors there should be no problem.

I can't say I ever ran across a terminal that would accept two or more 1/0 wires.

The conductor opening is usually not round, the most common are oval and teardrop. They are fairly common on 400A frame breakers.
