A customer has an exterior light being tied in with the pool equipment. The light only comes on with the filter pump running but will shut off when The GFCI is tripped. The GFCI is also protecting the pool lights. Any suggestions on how these might be tied together?

Any chance that the GFCI is ahead of a time clock for the pump, and the exterior light is tied into that time clock?

No the GFCI is on the load side of the control panel for the pool equipment. It is protecting the pool lights and the landscape light. At this point I’m thinking there might Be some broken wiring in between the pool pump and the light.
