Good Morning Friends, I'm trying to reference the code article that requires 120 volt landscape lighting to be GFCI protected. These fixtures will be hard wired in, not plugged into a receptacle. Any and all appreciated! Lyle :)

I don't believe there is such a requirement.

There is one for swimming pool areas 680.22(B)(4), is this what you are looking for?

Landscape light must be gfci protected if it is a residence and the wiring is 12" . Look at table 300.5 Col.4

I agree with that if the wiring is less than 12" but generally 120V landscape lighting do not require GFCI protection.

I agree with Dennis, the only thing that will drive the GFCI protection requirement of 120 volt landscape lighting is the burial depth of the wiring.
