Landscape Lighting

I am installing some new landscape lighting and purchased a transformer - Progress Lighting P8591-31. I also purchased a photocell for the transformer - P8526-31


I have a twp questions about installation/function:


1. Are these two products compatible? The photocell has an easy-connect end but there is no matching terminal in the transformer. There is a wire inside labeled COM which connects to the on/off switch.
2. There's only one terminal to connect lights to - do I split the line outside the transformer to the different runs of lights?
