Have an unusual set up. Were installing a 3000A service and having an issue sourcing a switch in time. Utility is ok with me installing a "pull box" with terminal blocks to accommodate until the switch comes in

We will be installing 8 sets of 4 inch pvc with 4 750 mcm conductors in each, i need to size a big enough pull box to house the conductors and terminal blocks

Any help is greatly apricated

What do you think about sizing the box the same as the future switch so when the switch does come in the same conductors can be uised

I think the box itself needs to be larger then the switch, i will arrange my conduits in coordination with the switch spec sheet.

Im also trying to figure out the size of wireway i would need for 32 750 MCM AL

I should have worded switch cabinet.
Only loss of conductor would be the distance between the Line & Load switch terminals.
If you size the enclosure the same as the cabinet you know it will be large enough.

Just curious, what does this switch do? Does it have OCPD? You will be able to get this energized and running without the switch until the switch comes in?
The utility actually is allowing me to put a large junction box until the switch comes in .

There will be several meters and service switches until then. So all the cinductos will be protected.

It's a very unique situation for them to allow this.

We down sized the service to 2500 amps .

Trying to comer up with a cleaver solution to swap the junction box with the switch and make it as easy for me in the future as possible
