Attached below i have over 1200A over six feet wide switchboard SGHS 277/480V three phase in electrical room.
The door next to SGHS red rectangle leads to another electrical room where emergency equipment are kept.
The distance between the SGHS and the door where emergency equipment are kept red line is 37 inches.
The actual egress exit out both electrical room is red circled.
Questions:
1. Would 110.26(c)(2)(b) apply to the red circled door or not?
2. Should not the red line distance be 42 inches based off of 110.26(c)(2)(b)?
3. Is their anything in NEC 2017 that says one electrical room door cannot open to another equipment working space? I mean person going out of the red circled door and if their is explosion of SGHS would he not be stuck? The distance from working SGHS to the pillar is 18 inch
