I'm bidding in a laundromat remodel, the question is how do you mount the outlets for the washer machines that are not against the wall , but in the main floor back to back to each other . are they floor receptacles? what about the 30 and 50 Amps receptacles , are there floor receptacles for 30 and 50 amps? what other way can they be mounted?any kind of protection against water?

I would mount them at 18" or so off the floor. If you have access from below stub up with rmc and mount the boxes to unistrut or something. If no access from below drop down with rigid to a cast box and nipple down to a floor flange. You can drop one time and then feed to the others from behind the units.

The area between the machines is also usually an overflow trough. The usual method is for the conduit (rigid) to stub up about 18", and mount a DEEP 4-square box and use an 'industrial' cover plate. The pipes usually stub up in a cluster of four, and the boxes are bolted together for mutual support. Or, you can connect the pipes with short pieces of strut.
