For dwelling units laundry area is defined as far as GFCI. A friend brought up a laundromat and I had to think, I looked in 210.8B and I did not see it mentioned.
6ft within sink pretty much anywhere but these units hit a common drain not a sink, any input appreciated. In my opinion I think it should have gfci protection but I can’t site from NEC

Yeah, there's several additions for GFCI protection in the 2020 code.
