Laundry 110v outlet serving wash/dry

No other outlets in existing laundry, it's behind the units, serving wash/dry, yet it falls within the 6ft distance from edge of sink, I'm standing on article 210.8(A)(7), are there any exemptions elsewhere that address this?

I agree with C3PO and Wirebender. If the receptacle for the washer is within 6 feet from the edge of the laundry sink it must be GFCI protected. I have had people try to use the exceptions for 210.8(A)(2) and (A)(5) but those exceptions only apply to garages and unfinished basements respectively.
