LB make up 2" or 2 1/2"

If you are making up a couple 2/0's and a couple 1's is a 2" LB big enough? I seem to remember getting hung up on this once, and changing it to a 2 1/2"

You may want to check the LB. Some limit the size of the wire. That being said I use 2"lb's all the time with 3- 2/0 copper conductors.

also suggest you take a look at 314.28(A)(2) & (3).
Certain Form LBs won't handle what the 2" conduit will.

thanks for replies. i will probably just use the 2.5 to be safe...only a bit more money. that article archive was interesting, i did not know about service LB's

Remember it's the bending space not the fill, reason for the longer LB's.
