LED ceiling fixture w/ battery backup

My google skills are failing me.

I need to replace a couple of 4' 2-tube T-12 "wraparound" fixtures that have battery-backup ballasts with LED units; the ballasts are failing. The replacements don't have to look the same, almost anything that puts out light will work as long as it's a single unit. I've found plenty of 2'x4' lay-in panels w/ battery drivers but not much else (they need to surface mount on a plaster ceiling).

Does anyone make such a beast? What should I be looking for?

Sort of like that, but not for $250 each. It looks like a usual fixture with LED tube replacements, and at that point I could just get an LED retro kit.

I have trouble thinking this is such a rare bird, but maybe....

Maybe. I saw a couple on Amazon that looked to be backordered or discontinued. Have you tried a supply house?

Not yet, I seldom need to hit one for my usual work (and I'd rather order online and have it just appear). At least this isn't a critical fix, any time in the next few weeks is good enough.

Exact replacement battery/ballasts are not available, I imagine?

If you’re looking to retrofit with LED T8 tubes, you’ll need an inverter. They are not cheap. The $250 fixture replacement will be less than buying and installing and inverter.
