Fixtures are rated up to 277v. Existing power is 208v. Should I switch the existing over to 120v or leave it at 208?

We had this question many times with t-5 ballasts, leds and the like. Some said 120/277v while others said 120-277v, the first one sounded specific as to 120 or 277v only, while the second sounded like anything in between. We called tech support on a few of the 120-277v and they confirmed any voltage between 120 and 277 would be fine. And nowadays I think they must have gotten a lot of calls on this so they started using terms like universal voltage or up to. I just did a sloan led install and their spec sheet reads "Nominal input voltage 90 - 307 VAC, 47-63hz" I did not call on this one, as that seems clear enough. However you still may want call on yours to be sure.
