LED Dimmer low voltage wiring

We are using Lurton PP-DV power packs with a Lurton compatible 10v dimmer. My question is with the class 2 wiring part. What type of cable are you using? And are you just splicing to the power pack wires with a no box splice? Just wire nuts and then daisy chaining to each fixture?

I don't think anyone uses boxes for low voltage wiring like that.
