I’m installing a track light setup in a store that will have (24) 8.5 watt track heads, for a total of 204 watts.
The owner wants to be able to dim them. Most standard Lurton dimmers are rated 150 watts.

does anyone have recommendations for a higher wattage dimmer? I’m sure they’re out there I’m just wondering about one that you’ve had good luck with.

I’ll probably install the track setup and let her see what it looks like before actually putting a dimmer switch in. I have a feeling she won’t need it.
Thanks

You could also consider going wireless. Get ya a pico and a dimming powpak from Lutron (they have 0-10V and phase dimming powpaks) and you can do up to 8A per control zone. If you ever get into a situation where you had more than 8A in a single control zone, a single pico can still be set to control multiple powpaks.
