The Power Supply for LED Strip Lighting requires a green "bond" wire, but someone that had bought their own equipment tried testing the light without the third bonding conductor and was telling me it didn't work until he had changed the cord to the appropriate three wire with green connected.
I realize all metal needs to be connected together to "bond', but is there a shock hazard with a properly functioning power supply without a green bond wire ?
