LED lights in commercial parking garage

Has anyone used some kind of led lights in commercial parking garage? Are there any advantages compared to fluorescent or MH lamps? I know that the initial cost will be a huge difference and light quantity maybe another factor. I am not sure about light output level compatible. Any recommended manufacturer if you already experienced with LED in same application? Thanks!

imho LEDs have a long way to go as they are expensive, and replacement of parts down the road will add up to a hefty chuck of change (assuming all fixtures need to have their driver/led modules replaced at the same time).

Does the budget allow for LED lighting over fluorescent or MH?

I've specified BetaLED's pole lights for a luxury condo project (still in design) and I would not be surprised that this will become a V/E down the road prior to construction documents.

Installation is a capital expense and replacemnts are part of maintenance budgets. Probably neither can affort the current LED technology. Put in MH or HPS. Fluorescent might have some starting problems in the winter.
