I have 2 tube equivalent 4' LED lights
Nondimmable 65w.
 The customer purchased all the equipment without consulting me. First lights are too bright.
They are already installed. The electricity bill is way too much, and he's wondering if we disconnected one of the strips in the fixture, would it reduce the power consumption?Ultimately, a smaller utility bill

No easy answer, without knowing the specifications. Are the strips are in parallel or in series? Does the driver output constant voltage, or constant current?

However, in any case, unless something is drastically wrong with the LED lighting (or unless there are many fixtures), it shouldn't contribute very much to a power bill. Better to start with the common causes of high electric bill: unusually extreme weather; something wrong with the A/C or a refrigerator or other appliance; or bad underground wiring on his side of the meter.
