Who here is getting into LED lighting on a semi to large basis. We are doing a remodel job and the HO asked me to install 3 of these into the existing kitchen recessed lights.

The only other LED I have done was some bullet lights which I really liked. I would like to move in this direction, but the cost is pretty high. Although the LED bullets were pretty reasonable.

We are just wrapping up a large supermarket where every fixture in the store is LED.

In another grocery chain we retrofitted at least at 1000 fluorescent lamps to LEDs in the frozen food cases.

How much did the price of milk go up right after you submitted the invoice? :D

How was the quality of the lighting? Does it give a digital feel or no drastic change in lighting apeal. I would like to install/sell a few just concerned with the light output spectrum...

I'm actually going on a tour of that competitors store that is all LED this month. It will be interesting to see what the light levels are.

We are going all LED in our frozen cases as well.

The CREE lights are awesome (IMO). I use them in my home office. I have 6 of them on a lot. Its nice to know that I am only burning 72W.

I have installed these in a home in a kitchen and dining room. The customers love them.

The light quality is just as good as a 65W incandescent.

Is that the 12w that has the edison base? They are like $200 bucks each just for the lamp aren't they? At least that's what I was quoted.

It's nice to see customers putting up the big bucks for LED lights but it seems like the American way is to buy cheap now and pay later. I was thinking about financing the products to the commercial market. Especially with the new improvements being made year after year.

With that said, has anyone any been installing 2x2 or 2x4 LED panels for drop ceilings?
