All class 1 wiring is install as per NEC chapters 1-4 especially article 300 requirements; raceways, fittings, junction boxes, splices.
The BBU has open wires on the battery for the test switch mounted next to fixture in drop ceiling panel, and wires to attach to the driver.
NEC 725.24 requires installation to be neat and in a workman like manner and can be exposed on surface of ceilings...supported by cable ties
725.2 Class 2 circuit is considered safe from fire and electric shock.
LED retrofit wiring Class II or III not in raceway or junction box with open splices.
Does this comply with the NEC?
