LED strip info

Repaired my customers LED undercab strip lights, but one strip the tail came off, its not a snap on type connector, must of been soldered? I've never worked with this type lighting before, is there a connector I can by to attach, or do I need to buy a new strip with the tail? There is know brand name on the strip also, thank you

To be more clear I'm referring to the strips that I guess come in a roll and just sick to the cabinet surface

You need to make sure the connector matches the tape. Some only work with the same brand of tape. The contact points may be different on some of the tapes. These connectors basically pierce the tape contact points when squeezed together and the pins/stabs must contact ONLY the contact points. Some are a pain to get a good connection.

Connector should be listed should it not?
I'm having a hard time finding a listed connector period, let alone on Amazon. And it seems anyone could put the words UL Listed in their Amazon description. Without a listing file number, it's impossible to verify.

You may be better off just soldering.

You need to know how wide is the tape.

8mm, 10mm, 12mm, are common. I've seen 14mm too, but not a lot.

It also helps to know if it's inside an aluminum channel.

If it's 8mm these work with a little caution...
