While pondering, I happened to find mention of the issue of LED supplies and noise.

Some folks don't care about RFI, others do.
Few places care more than the 13,000^2 mile NRQZ. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_National_Radio_Quiet_Zone
They have a staff that chases radiators of all ilk in the Zone. In the inner parts, only Diesel cars/trucks are allowed;

I was curious so I wrote them; I got a prompt answer back. LED lamps (well, their noisy supplies....) have been and continue to be a non-trivial headache of theirs.

Since I'd heard that Tesla's are so noisy they don't have AM radios, I also asked about electric cars.
"Modern vehicles have an ever-increasing number of technologies that cause issues..."
Including I guess the Tire Pressure Monitors.

Interesting, at least to me.

I had heard that am radios are not being produced as much because of the lack of stations... consumers prefer fm, usb and sd cards, and ability to do more other things so the combination of less antenna needed for fm, and the consumers wants have led to a loss of am availability
