I learned today that there's a law firm specializing in representing shock injury victims and their next-of-kin.

It’s like the stray voltage crowd. Bunch of highly paid scammers. They are so crazy you get an industry of anti-ambulance lawyers and engineers getting paid too. I mean these guys practically try to convince juries someone was electrocuted while operating a dowsing rod stick. It’s that nutty.

If you’ve ever been through a workman’s comp claim you will become convinced that the doctors, lawyers, victims, and insurance companies are all running one huge scam. It’s ridiculous. Most self respecting people have to actually get in the doctors face to sign releases and go back to work. They will milk anything completely dry. There are people out there that make workman’s comp claims a “profession” as so-called victims.

There are real medical problems with shock because it cooks you from the inside out and doesn’t show up on X-Ray, MRI, etc., and because nerves do strange things when damaged. ANY injury that damages nerve endings does strange things that are never quite right after that. I’m not sure medical science is really where it needs to be on shock injuries, I don’t think an MRI will identify coined or burned parts for instance because it’s the same stuff, just cooked or burned. And unlike electricians we can’t just cut off and replace the bad stuff with fresh, new stuff. But we don’t need scum sucking scam artists screwing up efforts to help people that actually need medical help.
