Is there a maximum cable length between the OCPD (fuse or circuit breaker in a switchboard or Panelboard) and the Primary of a Transformer?
In this example; a switchboard circuit breaker (480Vac @ 90Amps) feeds a 75KVA (480/208-120) transformer, which then feeds a 208/120Vac Panelboard with a 225Amp Main Breaker.

The primary feeder conductors are protected by the OCPD that they are connected to, so there is no limit on their length. The secondary conductors are unprotected until they get to the first OCPD, so there are length limits on the secondary conductors.
