Levition panel mount GFCI

Hey all I have a Leviton panel mount GFCI 36597 with 5 wires. I can't find instructions anywhere. It has a smaller white wire along with the line side #12s. Anyone know what it's for? If I were to guess I'd say an EGC but it's white....
