Leviton loadcenter

Walked by a display in Home Depot today, looks like Leviton has gotten into the loadcenter business. Anybody install one of these yet? $$$! Wonder if you can tell what the arc fault breaker is thinking on the app? LOL!

I haven't installed one, but the breakers look very similar to the European stuff I see when on vacation. Interesting idea with the smart breakers, I'm curious how hot that panel gets with everything running on afci or gfci smart breakers.

It has been out for a while now. There have been some other threads on it. I dont have any direct experience.

I know those afci’s get pretty warm, changed some at the boss’s house yesterday, no load at all on them. Kinda defeats the energy code. I’ve changed entire panel boards out due to excessive heat. Manufacture warranty.

They use hydraulic breakers which are not temperature sensitive, so it does not matter how hot they get.

I dont like how the smart breakers can be remotely tripped. I can't wait until a security vulnerability is discovered on this thing. Homeowners arent exactly the best at network security.

So can hydraulic breakers automatically be 100% rated? Or is there still an issue that excessive heat buildup may damage the breaker?

I wonder who is making the breakers, did Leviton actually set up a breaker factory or did they partner with an existing manufacturer. The breakers look sort of like Airpax / Sensata. These have been out for what a year or two now? It would be nice if Leviton released some sales figures.
