LFMC & connectors

I need opinions! My feeling is when I have 3-1/c 2 AWG + 1-10 AWG G that I need to terminate the LFMC on a conduit outlet body if need a 90 at a cabinet instead of using a LFMC 90 STB. I don't think the STB meets the requirements of 314.28.

I misspoke. Can STB connectors be used on an install of 2" LFMC between enclosures routing 3-1/c 2 AWG + 1-1/c 10 AWG G? The termination is with double locknuts and insulated bushings at the enclosures. This install has no pull fittings and the wiring would be fished form transformer to panel.

I assume the LFMC is exposed. If so, you can use the angle fittings without a code violation as long as you are not exceeding the fill (which I am not going to calculate at this time).

Now, if you are intending to pull the wiring through those fittings after the fittings are installed, you may have some issues. Generally the fittings are placed onto the conductors after the conductors have been pulled in the flex. Is there something preventing you from doing this?

You're right. This is the only way it will work, but the client insistes on a pull rope for allowance to change equipment and wiring in the future. I imagine the sharp technician/electrician would remove the arrangment and reinstall the fittings over the wiring before refitting the assembly to the equipment. The point being that it is not the arrangement to pull wiring through. Thanks.
