LFMC Grounding

I plan to run 15ft of LFMC cable (3/4" UL) from control panel to PVC conduit for powering an external Motion Sensor light. Inside the PVC and LFMC cable will be UF-B cable. According to code, the UL LFMC cable is grounded. Do I need to ground it more formally or should I limit the LFMC run to 6 ft. or less? Thoughts?
