I need to go from 1.5"to3/4" metal threaded Reducer to 3/4"LFMC what is proper way? Is it ok to just remove the locknut and screw the LFMC connector into the reducer?

So a RB has NPT and a LFMC connector is male NST, do some electricians just rely on the seal that comes with the connector? Also I see the mention of using a C conduit body,Reducers are made for this purpose so that is what I would use.
