LFMC verses LFNC can they both be installed in the same places?

Mostly this is a design issue.

LFMC can be installed in some hazardous locations where LFNC typically is not permitted in hazardous locations.

Check out the differences in 350.10 and 350.12 with 356.10 and 356.12.

Same reasons one might use rigid over EMT, or Sched80 PVC over Sched40.
