LFNC-B

Can I use a rigid coupling to connect two pieces of LFNC-B that were cut short. It changes over from EMT with proper fitting going to a RTU. The local inspector tells me that it is NOT ok to use a rigid coupling to connect the two together. I have two male connectors with the rigid coupling between them... Am I correct??

I would have no problem with the coupling as far as any chapter 3 requirements go, but how are you going to ground it?
