LFNC SUPPORT UNDER 6 FT

Article 356 states LFNC exceeding 6 feet needs to be supported within 12 inches of termination and every 3 ft beyond that. That being said, if your LFNC does not exceed 6 ft then does it not need to be supported?

I see nothing in 356.30 that says you must so you should be ok. What is the application or reason for not wanting a strap?
