Just got my license renewal form in the mail the other day and now there is a another form I have to fill out for Homeland Security about aiding or supplying money, material or what have you to terrosits groups. There are 6 questions you have to answer yes/no to. Did anyone here have to fill out such a form?

How would you know, anyhow? It's not like guys phone you up for work to be done, and introduce themselves as a terrorist cell.

No.... I didn't have to fill one out - nor do I think we would or should have to.

Then again I got my license before (those in my State) we had to get finger-printed and criminal back-round check for sex offenses, fraud & theft, and failure of child support.

All of which I do not think are necessary. What made people think that all contractors must be sceened for dead-beat dad or sexual preditor status? I find the premis offensive...

Like-wise do I think we should be targeted for questioning by homeland security...

I recall getting one with my Fire Alarm renewal.

Could be an Ohio thing.

Here is a link to the document I have to fill out to get my contractors license renewed. As of now this is probably just an Ohio thing, but trust me, if I have to do it, you will to at some point in time

Somebody please tell ME what country I am living IN, my time machine/way back machine is starting to flash names from our past (McCarthy, Stahlin, Russia, Nazi Germany)

I am all for protecting our country, but this is to much.

Sorry I didn't mean to turn this political, but enough is enough.

Somewhat similar to the question you get (or at least used to get) at a ticket counter in airports about has anyone you don't know given you anything to carry for them? e/m

I agree Bob. We seem to have forgotten that a free and open society is not a place for cowards who depend on the government to protect them from everything!

Ohio license application:
"Are you a member of an organization..."

Apparently that pesky Constitution thingy about self-incrimination doesn't apply in Ohio any more...
