I'm currently working on the electrical design for a renovation of the Central Facility in a retirement community in Phili, PA. The current Main Dist. Switchboard is fed from an automatic transfer switch, so the entire distribution is essentially normal/emergency. All of the main gear will be replaced one for one. Given the fact that the entire distribution is N/E, would life safety loads need to be segregated into a separate LS Panel?
